The facility is so understaffed and have so many patients to take care of that nobody gets the attention they deserve. The staff is rude and if you complain about care, nothing is done to rectify the problem. This place is poorly managed. I was only at Sand Piper Bay for 5 days but that was far too long for me. Fortunately I was able to wheel myself in a wheelchair and didn't need to count on anyone there for anything but water and medication, That was bad enough. My water did not get refreshed for over 24 hours, and my medication was wrong.
Factors that influenced these ratings include building design, construction, exterior spaces, and amenities. This is not a good place to bring a family member. The inspection ratings speak for themselves.

I appreciated that the nurses always answered our questions and didn’t seem agitated. I only hear positive things about the food and I discovered they actually have a certified chef! I would highly recommend Sandpiper for your love one.
I love my apartment which is just the right size for me and my cat, a one-bedroom, balcony that opens onto a dead end and Asbury Church. The location is excellent since I go to Genesis Health Club on W. 13th, shop at that Dillons, and go to New Market Square. I intend to stay here a long time.

LaCrosse Apartments & Carriage Homes is located in Northeast K-96 in the city of Wichita. Here you’ll find three shopping centers within 1.1 miles. There are also five parks within 4.8 miles, including Great Plains Nature Center, Chisholm Creek Park, and Claude Lambe Park. I've had friends that have lived there and have attended a number of parties there.
Between the ever-expanding suburbs in the western reaches of the area, and the charming suburbs just near the river, West Wichita has something for everyone. There are restaurants aplenty, incredible country clubs, expansive parks, and great schools and universities. No matter where your dream apartment is, you can be in the center of the city in 15 minutes.
The time period when the sun is no more than 6 degrees below the horizon at either sunrise or sunset. The horizon should be clearly defined and the brightest stars should be visible under good atmospheric conditions (i.e. no moonlight, or other lights). One still should be able to carry on ordinary outdoor activities.
Any maintenance issues are taken care of promptly and professionally, and the grounds are nicely upkept. My daughter & I love the pool during the summer & the location is in a decent part of town with shopping nearby. I moved in a month ago and love it here!
